Genesis 1:1-2:4
Happy Sunday Asbury!
God is good…All the time…And all the time…God is good!
Today begins a five-part sermon series titled God’s Creative Connection.
Since God began creating, God’s been working creatively to bring all of us into a closer family relationship-how we were meant to be when God sees how everything is “supremely good.” And God will accomplish what God wants, even if God must use some highly creative methods to do so. Bishop McKee shared with us the creative method God uses to have all the diverse people gathered on Pentecost to be able to hear the voice of God-the Holy Spirit coming in such a way where every person can hear in the way they can understand.
We’re called to do the same-to share the gospel in various ways so everyone can hear it in the way that speaks to them, whether that be through music, prayer, liturgy, or sermon.
What we’re going to see over these next five weeks, is that from the moment God speaks creation into existence, God’s been working in creative ways to connect all people to one another and to God.
